Bharati Airtel's subscriber base far ahead of BSNL

Bharati Airtel is far ahead of state owned BSNL in terms of its total subscirber base. Bharti added, 2.82 million mobile users in June, taking its subscriber base to 102.4 million, as pe the data of Cellular operators Association of India (COAI). In comparison, BSNL saw only a slight increase in its monthly addition, getting 0.8 million (eight lakh) new users in June.
The data also revealed that India's total mobile subscribers based on GSM technology rose to 315.78 million with the addition of 8.89 million users in June.
