Repatriation Policy of the DOT

The Telecom Ministry was pulled up for payments to ITS officers for doing no work.  The Department of Personnel has pulled up the DOT for keeping idle the 355 odd ITS officers who were repatriated from BSNL & MTNL.  They stated that already an amount of Rs.25 crores has been spent on their salaries and another 6 crore rupees on tranfer grants etc. All this for doing nothing. They have also found fault with the repatriation policy of the DOT.
