Process of 6th Membership Verification

The cat is out of the Bag?. The management wanted to change the recognition rules in BSNL as per the advise of the Chief Labour Commissioner and held a meeting on 16.10.2012 and decided to have further consultations with the management and appraise the unions by calling another meeting.  Now the recognized union has addressed a letter to the management asking them to immediately start the process for the 6th membership verification without changing the recognition rules.  This shows that they do not want any change in the recognition rules. The stand of the BSNL MS and TEPU in this regard are quite note worthy.  By propping up these paper unions against any change in recognition rules, the recognized union has succeeded in negating the request of all other unions for change in recognition rules.
