Agenda and decision given by Director (HR)
1. PROMOTION OF QUALIFIED R.M.s as TELECOM MECHANICS: Director HR has assured that all the left over RMs/Group D who are trained in TM cadre will be posted as Telecom Mechanics within 45 days in all the circles.
2. RESTRUCTURING OF STENOGRAPHER CADRE: Director HR has assured that the new Recruitment Rules will be finalized and notified within 2 months and that there will not be different types of recruitment in corporate office and field units & The Restructuring of the cadre of Stenographers is under way and will be finalized in the next 2 months.
3. REMOVAL OF STAGNATION OF RM/GROUP D: For this item, the Director (HR) stated that the management cannot give any relief to the officials now.
4. REDUCTION OF RESIDENCY PERIOD IN NE 12 SCALE: For this item also the Director (HR) stated that as the NEPP was finalized no further relief can be given and the same will be reviewed at the time of formulation of new Promotion Policy as and when done.
5. IMPLEMENTATION OF TRANSFER POLICY IN FIELD UNITS:
The Director HR has assured that the corporate office will issue guidelines to the circles to observe transparency in the matter of transfers and that the transfer policy also will be reviewed soon.
