BREADS (BSNL Retired Employees Associate Distributor Sales) Policy
Breads (BSNL Retired Employee Associate Distributor Sales) shall market and sell BSNL Products e.g. SIM, C-Topup etc., to customers at their door steps and through organizing Mela/Camp at various locations in the SSA.
Person registered as BREADS with BSNL may also be appointed as BREADS-RM (Retail Manager) for a Franchisee Territory of the SSA based on the requirement by the SSA. Maximum one BREADS-RM per Franchisee territory may be appointed. BREADS-RM will report to SSA Sales and Marketing Team/SSA Sales Head.
Role of BREADS-RM (Retail Manager): BREADS would submit a report to SSA on his allocaed franchisee territory mentioning following points.
Eligibility Criteria: Only retired employees of BSNL willing to serve customers/prospects at their premises and through organizing Mela/Camp etc., shall be eligible to apply.
Selection of BREADS: Selection of Breads will be done by SSA Head for initial period of 3 years.
Security Deposit: Refundable Security Deposit of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five hundred only)
Area of Operation: BREADS shall be allowed to operate within SSA where he/she is registered.
Incentive applicable to BREADS as RM (Retail Manager):-
Amount equivalent to 50 liters of petrol per month towards traveling and other charges on self-certification and beats plan covered by the BREADS.
SSA head may sanction an amount up-to Rs.100/- per working day towards promotional expenditure on sales Camp/Mela.
Targets to BREADS: There shall be minimum monthly sales target of 50 no. SIM/FRC and C-Topup/Recharge of Rs.5000/-. Targets will be reviewed every three months; if minimum monthly sales targets are not achieved by the BREADS then they would not be continued further.

- Auditing the number of visits by the FOS to retailers.
- Auditing the incentives paid to retailers by the Franchisee.
- Providing the information regarding BSNL product/schemes/trade schemes/VAS etc to retailer for further publicity.
- Feedback about replacement of damaged material by the franchisee.
- Feedback on supply of POS material such as Glow sign board etc.
- Assessment of potential area for appointment of new retailers.
- Combined visit with FOS and on spot issuing of C-Topup
