BSNL betters Vodafone in slashing roaming tariffs..
For roaming services which includes a flat rate of 49 paise per minute and a one paise per second plan. For calls made to other networks the roaming tariffs will be 1.2 paise per second.
This is an attempt to join the price war scenario currently prevailling in the industry, our primary aim is to bring the advantage of our network to our customers' said BSNL CMD Kuldeep Goyal.
The current charges for roaming for BSNL's subscribers were Rs.1 to Rs.1.50 per minute
Vodafone last week had offered its subscribers a flat rate of 70 paise per minute or a 1.5 paise per second rate.
